Cascading Style Sheets do not magically make documents accessible, but if used correctly they can make documents more accessible. CSS can be used to separate the formatting of the document from its content. This allows screen readers and other adaptive software to more easily render web pages in an accessible format for people with disabilities. Be aware that not every browser can adequately deal with CSS, therefore web page content must still be available even if it doesn't look as good without CSS.
